The Volute™ Thickening Press with its innovative, blinding-proof drum design and sophisticated self-monitoring controls is very friendly to unattended operation. Flexible operating parameters and operating feedback loops to the controls system deliver optimal thickening performance, even with changes in feed sludge volume, composition, and concentration. Polymer dose, flocculation energy, screw speed, and even sludge feed rate can be adjusted via the HMI panel and SCADA, if connected. The Volute Thickening Press can even be operated with one or more drums out of service if sludge feed rate drops below pre-set thresholds. No other mechanical thickening equipment provides this level of flexibility to meet your changing sludge handling needs.
